Really enjoy this one Clare! I circled back to it as I’ll be traveling to HoiAn for the last weeks of October. ❣️ if you were only there for one week, do you recommend staying in the Old Town or on the beach?
Normally, I'd say: An Bang. But late October, the weather might be rainy or even stormy. There might be a typhoon. So to be on the safe side, I'd book an accommodation in part of the old town that doesn't flood (I don't know the streets exactly but you can look this up) and in a building that can resist a bit of wind and that offers free bicycles (most do). It's only a leisurely 30 min to the beach on a bicycle.
Thanks Clare, yes not exactly the most ideal time of year for a trip there. I’ll be up in the mountains before but wanted to spend time in Hoi An before leaving Vietnam.
Thanks much for this read. I'll be going there tomorrow, staying awhile and will try all things on your list! Linen with pockets - can't wait ♥️.
Great! Enjoy—it's the perfect season for Hoi An.
