Haven't been to Quito in at least 20 years...it was nice to be taken back...Also, I have two very good friends who are in the Galápagos Islands--thanks for giving me a glimpse into their experience!

Sea lions! I can't believe they get that close and they're just lying around all over the place! No one disturbs them or tries to touch them?

Not as far as I can tell. Travelers to the Galapagos seem to be respectful people.
